Choosing subjects in IBDP
The curriculum offers guidance while choosing the study subjects. So, your kid may choose from languages, mathematics, sciences, arts and more. They may also select another subject from arts, languages, etc., instead of a science subject.
Also, your kid will have to choose some subjects for the standard level and the remaining for higher level. So, your kid will have to select a minimum of three or four subjects at the higher level and the remaining at standard level. At the higher level, teaching hours can go up to 240 hours while at the standard level, it can go up to 150 hours.
