Age Criteria for AY 2025-26 Admissions
The minimum age for admission to Grade 1 is 6 years and the maximum admissible age is 8 years as of 01/04/2025 for the regular category. Thus, the allowed range of date of birth of a child seeking admission in Grade-1 for AY 2024-25 is 01st April 2017 to 01st April 2019.
A 2-year relaxation in the upper age limit is given for “Differently Abled” candidates. The allowed range of date of birth of a child seeking admission in the “Differently Abled” category is from 01st April 2015 to 01st April 2019.
The cut-off day to work out the age of an applicant seeking admission for AY 2025-26 is 01st April 2025.
Note: The minimum age limit to appear for the CBSE class 10th board exam is 14 years, which means the candidate must have completed 14 years of age as of 31st December of the year of the examination.
